Join us in September for our monthly Creative Writing Class with local author Damean Mathews. This month we will focus on general creative writing. Feel free to bring some of your current work that you might want some creative insight on.
The class will begin at 6:00 in the large space inside The Book Cellar / Wolf Hills Coffee in Abingdon, Virginia.

Join us on Thursday October 17th at 6:00 p.m. for our Horror themed creative writing class! Classes typically last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. Classes are held in-person at The Book Cellar in Abingdon, Virginia. Our address is 112 Court Street, Abingdon, Virginia 24210.

Remember how cool the book fair was when you were a kid? We’re going to help you re-live that time of your life with our first ever Adult Book Fair!
– We will be brining out a bunch of our back stock of used books that have never been on the sales floor before.
– The Sidebar will be making some cool literary themed cocktails.
– We will have a full line up of book fair favorite items like pens, pencils, erasers, posters, stickers, and more.

Join us for our third Open Mic Poetry Night on Saturday September 28th starting at 6:00 p.m. Bring your own poem or a poem written by someone else.
Sign up sheets will be available before the event to get your spot in line. Let’s enjoy together an evening of poetry, connection, and community!
