Do you have an idea for a children’s picture book? Learn how to design characters, plan your pages, and map your creative journey in this hands-on writing and drawing workshop.
Some things we’ll be covering (everyone will need pencils and paper)
-Designing characters and keeping them consistent across the book
-Structuring plot
-Telling a story visually across 32 pages
-Considering the reader’s experience by planning page turns and varying compositions
-Working within publishing limitations like trim size, gutters, margins, etc.
